Nordic walking on the historical paths of Opatija

Location: in front of Villa Angiolina
Route: OPATIJA NORDIC WALK CHALLENGE
Opatija (Villa Angiolina)-Lungomare-Volosko-Preluk-Pobri-Carmen Sylva-Opatija Mountain Trail/section (OPO)-Poljane-St. Petar-Dobreć-Oprič-Ika-Lungomare-Villa Angiolina.
Duration: approx. 7 hours, moderate difficulty trail, 23.6 km
Possibility to participate in shorter stages within the route through two checkpoint locations. The first checkpoint location is Put za Plahuti (near the Veprinački put), and the second checkpoint location is the square in Ika. Three stages:

stage, starting at 9:00 am, length 9 km (Villa Angiolina-Preluk-Pobri-Carmen Sylva-Put za Plahuti): moderate difficulty (flat terrain and ascent);

stage, expected start around 11:30 am, length 9 km (Put za Plahuti-Poljane-St. Petar-Dobreć-Ika square): moderate difficulty (ascent and descent);

stage, expected start around 2:00 pm, length 5.6 km (Ika square-Lungomare-Villa Angiolina): easy (flat terrain).
Nordic walking poles provided for 70 people. Refreshments provided at checkpoint locations for all participants.
In case of the bad weather organizer holds the right to change the route.
